Metal Forming

Southcross Custom Fabrication has in-house forming capabilities for a variety of materials and industries. We have the equipment and expertise necessary for metal fabricating small components, large components, heavy components, and components for offshore applications.

Our state-of-the-art equipment can perform any fabrication method required for your project, from bending to machining, milling, sawing and welding. We also offer CNC machining and laser cutting services.

Our metal fabrication equipment works with a variety of materials, including alloy, aluminum, brass, bronze, and many more. We also work with raw materials in the form of sheets, bar stock, tubing, and plates.

Design / Specifications

Southcross Custom Fabrication’s 350-ton CNC machine can fabricate materials within ± 0.002 in., ½ degree.

No production volume is too large or too small for Southcross. Our specialty production shop can produce prototypes or single parts for special applications; and we can ramp up to large-scale production — all at the same facility.

Most projects can be completed in as quickly as 2-3 days, but the exact lead-time depends on the scope of the project. We quote lead-times on a job-by-job basis. We also offer emergency or rush services to drastically shorten lead times if necessary.

Our operations comply with ASTM, ANSI, NFPA, and UL industry standards. We also ensure optimal efficiency by applying the principles of Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Lights Out Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, and Kanban.
